New Volvo FMX day cabs at Kirkby Skips Liverpool

We are delighted to announce that Leyton Groves from Kirkby Skips Limited has taken delivery of the first of three new Volvo FMX trucks, 13 Litre, 420bhp, 8×4 day cabs, from Anthony Walsh, Customer Solutions Manager – Liverpool.

The trucks are fitted with Hiab Multilift hookloader equipment, which allows for easy loading and unloading of containers.

They also feature the Volvo Engine Brake +, which provides powerful and reliable braking performance, the I-Shift gearbox, which optimises fuel efficiency and driver comfort, and the Media Package with satellite navigation, which enhances connectivity and entertainment.

The trucks will be maintained by the Thomas Hardie aftersales team in Liverpool on a Volvo Gold contract, which ensures maximum uptime and peace of mind. The Volvo FMX trucks are also equipped with the Volvo Dynamic Steering system, which makes steering effortless and precise, and the Driver Interface system, which gives the driver full control and information through a digital instrument display.

Established in 1989, Kirkby Skips Ltd offers the Premier Waste Management Service in Merseyside. We are currently working with some of the largest companies in the U.K providing them with a same-day skip hire service and waste management services.
